Going to the NFL playoffs, I was in search for the best NFL football avatars available on internet for my myspace & facebook pages. Here are some of the options I saw to show my team affiliation and NFL spirit in my social network page avatar. Though none of the following, other than www.trutoon.com, provided the personalization to combine my face, my team affiliation and football into one avatar, the following sites are worth mentioning:
- Iconator: showed me a bunch of sports icons like a football and a bunch of stuff. http://www.iconator.com/iconcat.php?CatID=18
- Jebo Avatars showed me a bunch of NFL avatar icons. The cool thing here is that most NFL teams are supported and a couple of NFL gear icons with team logo are available for most teams. It is pretty basic, but still could give me some good NFL icons. http://www.jeboavatars.com/NFL_Avatars_413_1.html.
- At http://www.sports-myspace-layouts.com/myspace-icons/nfl.asp they gave a bunch of NFL icons. Lot of them are impersonal and most do not show team affiliations. However some of the icons look good. They gave myspace codes for the avatars you like
- http://www.theredzone.org/avatars/gen_avatars.htm provides a bunch of team icons and team gear icons.
- http://www.alandaleproductions.com/football.htm provides some nice team icons in 80 X 80 size.
- http://www.trutoon.com/ provides NFL avatars where you can add your own face on a NFL star with your team gear in a few clicks. Select the Sports avatar category to see the NFL avatars. You can upload your picture and the site allows you to cut your face from your picture and add it on the avatars. Checkout my trutoon 49ers avatar below
